SEAI (Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland) government grant of €750 to upgrade your heating controls and to zone your house. Allowing you to heat radiators upstairs, downstairs and hot water independently.
Who can apply for the heating controls grant from SEAI ?
All homeowners, including landlords, whose homes were built and occupied before 2006 can apply. Homes built from 2006 onwards should have been constructed to the 2003 Building Regulations and should not need significant upgrades.

Benefits of Heating Controls and Zoning
Reduce your energy
Zoning allows you to seperate heating requirements in your house. Typically most houses can be divided into three zones i) Heating hot water ii) Heating downstairs iii) heating upstairs. Reduce your energy usage by up to 30% with easy to use heating controls and save money on your home heating bills. We will also fit a time clock to your immersion (never accidentally leave on again!)
Heat when you need it
You will receive a 7 day timer to help you plan your usage. You will also be able to control your heating remotely through a mobile phone app.
Zoned for more efficiency
Heat your hot water without having to turn your home heating (or having to turn on expensive immersion). You can also split upstairs and downstairs into heating zones for further efficiency. Both the hot water and heating zones can also be controlled via thermostats.
